Simply starting is often one of the hardest things we have to do. We can spend a lot of time and attention on preparation, making sure all the details are right, that everything is in order - all of which is good - but if we don't ever just start moving or doing, what's the point? I know what I speak of...I've spent a lot of time getting this blog ready. Making sure the links were right, working on a bio, searching for just the right photo and changing the layout time after time until it seemed perfect. But all the preparation in the world would have been worthless and never would have benefited any of you if I never sat down and just started writing!
The same is true of our finances. We are really good at making plans and writing lists...I'm going to save, I'm going to give, I'm going to budget, I'm going to get out of debt...but not so good about actually DOING something...I'm going to have a garage sale next Saturday and put the proceeds towards the credit card debt. You see, being successful is all about putting feet to your great intentions!
